Cudgera Creek Park car park upgrade

Cudgera Creek car park.jpg

We are upgrading the northern car park at Cudgera Creek Park in Hastings Point (adjacent to Cudgera Creek). The upgrade of the car park is an initial step in enhancing the overall experience for both locals and visitors while preserving the area's natural beauty.

Funding for the car park upgrade was secured prior to the commencement of the Hastings Point Headland Management Plan. The draft management plan is now being developed with input from the community to ensure it reflects local feedback.

The car park upgrade is designed to improve the car park’s visual appeal, traffic flow, and accessibility.

Project Schedule

  • Planning: Mid 2024
  • Construction: Mid 2025

  • Repair and asphalt the northern section of the car park (to match existing)
