Commercial Road
From 28 April 2025 for about 3 weeks
As part of our Footpath Rehabilitation Program, we'll be upgrading the footpath along Commercial Road, between Hartigan Street and Elizabeth Lane.
Work hours will be from Monday to Friday, 7 am to 5 pm. Works may need to be conducted some Saturdays, between 7 am to 1 pm.
-
Access routes will remain the same except when crews are working on James Street. During those times, there will be no entry to James Street from Commercial Road.
-
There may be lane closures and lane narrowing, which may cause brief traffic delays. Traffic controllers will be in place to direct traffic during work hours.
-
On street parking will be unavailable in the work areas. The work will be done in sections, so not all parking areas will be blocked at once. Please avoid parking near barricaded areas during work hours.
-
Pedestrian access through the work site will not be permitted. However, the work will be completed in sections and only the section being worked on will be barricaded.
