The Subdivision Manual provides best practice guidelines and development standards for subdivisions in the Tweed.

The manual provides advice on:

  • preliminary planning and design of subdivisions
  • procedures and documentation for seeking subdivision approvals
  • how to prepare development applications and construction certificate applications for subdivisions and subdivision works
  • how to implement subdivision works in accordance with approvals
  • how to complete the subdivision by obtaining a subdivision certificate.

Development applications for subdivisions will be assessed against the guidelines and requirements contained in this document. Council may refuse consent to an application that doesn't comply.
