October Business Month
October Business Month – that’s a wrap!
October Business Month is part of our Succeed in the Tweed initiative designed to empower, connect and celebrate the thriving Tweed business community.
During October, Council facilitated 17 events throughout the Tweed, and collaborated with the Tweed’s 3 business chambers, The NSW Small Business Commissioner and local business groups to give our local business community opportunities to network, develop skills and celebrate business success.
October Business Month is a testament to the talent, resilience and vibrancy that defines the Tweed’s diverse business landscape. Thank you to our amazing business community for getting onboard and making it our best yet.

About Business Month
NSW Small Business Month is a month-long program for small businesses across New South Wales to attend events aligned to their individual business interests.
This year’s program has been designed to provide small businesses with quality opportunities to network, develop skills and gain knowledge. In 2024, NSW Small Business Month 2024 will be debuting the NSW Small Business Month Expos. The Expos will be taking place in eight regions of New South Wales, including the Northern Rivers.
Council will host a series of free events throughout October that align with Council’s Community Strategic Plan and aim to help our local economy thrive and creating sustainable opportunities for the long term.
