Residents can have their love of Kingscliff set in stone by participating in a competition for the best quotes about the seaside village and its new Central Park.
Landscaping for Central Park is taking shape, as part of the ongoing Kingscliff Foreshore Revitalisation, and the designers are looking for residents’ quotes to include in a number of the pavers.
To submit a quote of up to 13 words, visit yoursaytweed.com.au/KingscliffForeshore and click on ‘Share Your Kingscliff Quote’ before 18 July.
A shortlist of 10 residents’ quotes will then be put to a community vote on the Your Say Tweed page, with the four most popular to be carved into pavers as part of the landscaping.
“Kingscliff Central Park will be a social hub for the village and the carved pavers will be another way to add some community heart and soul to the space,” Project Manager Stewart Brawley said.
