More time to have your say on key Council plans

26 May 2017

Exhibition extended until Thursday 1 June

Council has extended the on exhibition period for the draft 2017/2021 Delivery Program, draft 2017/2018 Operational Plan, draft Resourcing Strategy, and draft Revenue Policy and Statement, incorporating the draft Budget and Fees and Charges, until close of business Thursday 1 June 2017.

These plans have been on exhibition since 26 April 2017, however Council acknowledges that during this time our community and Council has been recovering from the major impacts of the recent flood event.

The Draft Delivery Program 2017–2021 outlines how Council will work over the next four years to achieve the long term community goals set out in the Community Strategic Plan 2017–2027, which was developed with extensive input from the community and adopted by Council in April.

Supporting the Delivery Program is the annual Operational Plan, which details the individual projects and activities that will be undertaken each year.

Thank you to those who have already made submissions during this round and the previous round of engagement for the Community Strategic Plan.

Submissions may be made to tsc@tweed.nsw.gov.au or by post to Draft Delivery Program/ Operational Plan, General Manager Tweed Shire Council, PO Box 816 Murwillumbah, NSW 2484.
