Pearl Street paths to be made safer near school

Council will begin work to replace some footpaths in Pearl Street, Kingscliff, on Monday (29 May 2017) to make them safer for pedestrians.

Several sections of footpath will be replaced on both sides of the road adjacent to the shopping centre, past St Anthony’s Catholic School and church to the five-way roundabout at the intersection of Seaview Street.

Council will close sections of on-street carparking during the works to provide alternate routes for pedestrians. Pedestrians will be guided through the workzones by traffic controllers.

The work will take about four weeks to complete.
