Changes to pedestrian access at the Kingscliff Foreshore works site

26 April 2017

Work on the Central Park site of the Kingscliff Foreshore Revitalisation project commences next week, with changes to the construction site fencing now in place.

The site fencing has been realigned along Marine Parade from the roundabout at the community hall, running north to link up with the existing site fencing at the Marine Parade carpark, opposite the Kingscliff Beach Hotel.

This effectively means that pedestrian access along this section of Marine Parade will now be on the western side, or ‘shop side’ of the road.

If heading north to south along the beach pedestrian access; cross at the pedestrian crossing at the Kingscliff Beach Hotel; head south along the ‘shop side’ of Marine Parade; cross with care at Seaview Street and continue south ‘shop side’ of Marine Parade; cross the pedestrian crossing opposite the surf club.

This change to pedestrian access will remain in place for a large part of the remainder of the project. There is no change to the Marine Parade car park.

Council apologises for any inconvenience. For more information on the Kingscliff Foreshore Revitalisation project, visit www.yoursaytweed.com.au/KingscliffForeshore
