The Murwillumbah Flood Recovery Centre is a one-stop-shop for affected residents, businesses and farmers to access recovery assistance from a range of agencies and organisations.
The centre will be closed on Good Friday but is open 10am-4pm Easter Saturday, Sunday and Monday, and 9am-6pm on Tuesday.
A hotline for the Recovery Centre for Murwillumbah has also been established, please get in contact to register and find out what assistance is available - (02) 6670 2133.
The Murwillumbah Recovery Centre is located at the Murwillumbah Community Centre in Nullum Street next to Knox Park and includes representatives of key welfare, business and insurance agencies to provide help, advice and information to affected residents and business people.
Agencies based at the recovery centres will include NSW Health, Disaster Welfare, Primary Industries, Insurance Agencies, Family and Community Services, Business Connect, EPA, Centrelink, Red Cross and Safe Work NSW.
The NSW Department of Industry’s Business Connect Bus has also been in Murwillumbah this week providing face-to-face flood recovery support and advice.
