Tweed Shire Council Pound services have reopened to the public and are taking enquiries about dogs or cats that have been lost or found during the recent flooding.
If your dog or cat has been lost during the floods, please contact the pound on (02) 6676 6060 to enquire as to whether it has been taken in.
If you have found a dog or a cat, you can either take the animal to the pound or phone Council’s Contact Centre on (02) 6670 2400 to arrange for a Council Ranger to come and collect it when possible.

For injured or found native animals please contact Tweed Valley Wildlife Carers on (02) 6672 4789.
The pound is located at Leddays Creek Road, Stott’s Creek and is open from 10am-4pm, seven days a week.
