Slide and dive holiday fun at TRAC

13 December 2016

Water slide and diving boards open for action throughout school holidays

The giant water slide and diving boards at Tweed Regional Aquatic Centre Murwillumbah will be operating daily during the school holidays.

From Saturday 17 December 2016 to 29 January 2017 – excluding Christmas Day - visitors will be able to slide and dive from 10.30am to 3.30pm.

The slide and diving boards will be open on the weekends, also from 10.30am to 3.30pm, throughout Daylight Saving.

A small extra charge applies for slide and dive sessions.

All three TRAC complexes will be closed on Christmas Day.

Then from Monday 26 December to Monday 2 January, TRAC Murwillumbah will be open from 10am to 5pm each day, with the Kingscliff facility open 9am to noon and the South Tweed complex open from 10am to 4pm.

The three centres will return to normal opening hours on Tuesday 3 January.

All fitness classes at the three centres - including deep water running, aqua fitness, gentle aqua, cycle fit, and adult swim fit – will take a break from 26 December to Monday 9 January.

A free junior water polo clinic will be held at TRAC Murwillumbah in January. Participants are encouraged to attend all four sessions on 10, 12, 17 and 19 January, from 7.30am to 8.30am, but interested juniors will be able to attend individual sessions.
