Individual traffic lanes on Boyds Bay Bridge, Minjungbal Drive, Tweed Heads, will be closed on Tuesday 22 November 2016 to allow the structural integrity of the bridge to be tested.
All lanes of the bridge will be closed for short periods between 9am and 3pm, but only one lane will be closed at a time.
The tests are being conducted by Roads and Maritime Services.
The tests involve a test truck braking quickly on the bridge so that the braking forces can be calculated.
