Tweed Recovery Assistance Point Update - extension

Tweed Heads South Recovery Assistance Point (RAP) has extended its opening hours.

A new RAP will also be based inside Chinderah Scout Hall on Wednesday 2 April from 9 am - 5 pm. 

Tweed Heads South Recovery Assistance Point (RAP) opening hours:

  • Friday 28 March - open 9 am - 5 pm
  • Saturday 29 March - closed
  • Sunday 30 March - closed
  • Monday 31 March - open 9 am - 5 pm
  • Tuesday 1 March - open 9 am - 5 pm
  • Wednesday 2 April - open 9 am - 5 pm

About Recovery Assistance Points

The RAP is open to anyone who has been affected by Tropical Cyclone Alfred and is looking for support with navigating the paperwork and confusion that comes with making claims after a disaster event.

Support is available from the Reconstruction Authority, Services Australia, Legal Aid, Essential Energy and the Salvation Army.
