The flood restoration of Cudgera Creek Road has been completed by contractor PCA a month ahead of schedule.

The $1.5million project involved repairing a 25m long slip, pavement rehabilitation and improving drainage.

The road is now open again to traffic in both directions.

PCA Project Manager Josh Hoar would like to thank both the Tweed Shire Council for their collaborative delivery approach and the residents and road users of Cudgera Creek Road for their patience whilst the project works were underway.

“All told it was a great little project that generally went to plan from our perspective,” Mr Hoar said.

PCA is currently working on the flood restoration site on the Tweed Valley Way north of Burringbar.
