Our offices at Murwillumbah and Tweed Heads are closed from Monday 23 December and re-open at 9 am on Monday 6 January. Read more about contacting Council over the break.
Our ePayment and Property Services portal is also unavailable over the closedown period. Check out alternative options for paying your bill or rates.
Our essential services will continue to operate as usual, including water and sewage treatment and waste collection.
In the event of any Council-related emergencies during this time, residents can phone our after-hours service on 02 6670 2400 - any time of the day or night. For other emergencies like flooding or bush fires, head to the Tweed Emergency Dashboard.
You can report non-urgent issues by using our online Report a Problem service, noting this will be actioned when our offices re-open in the new year.
Household, park and street bins will continue to be serviced on your regular bin day, including on the public holidays.
Stotts Creek Resource Recovery Centre is closed on Christmas Day only.
The JUNKtion Tip Shop is closed from 4:30 pm on Friday 20 December and re-opens at 8:30 am on Wednesday 8 January.
