Auslan cultural tours launching in November

Free Auslan cultural tours for deaf and hard of hearing visitors will be taking place over 2 dates in November and December at the Tweed Regional Gallery & Margaret Olley Art Centre and Tweed Regional Museum. 

Attendees will experience highlights of exhibitions at both cultural facilities, accompanied by Gallery and Museum staff and interpreters from Auslan Stage Left.   

Saturday 4 November   

10.30 – 11.30 am  Tweed Regional Gallery & Margaret Olley Art Centre   

Exhibition: Light and Life: Margaret Olley, Laura Jones, India Mark and Mirra Whale  

Monet masterpiece, Meules, milieu du jour [Haystacks, midday] 1890 

11.30 am – 12 pm
Break and morning tea (included)

12.30  – 1.30pm - Tweed Regional Museum   

Exhibition: Supertonic and a little bit about the Museum 

Saturday 7 December 

10.30 am – 11.30 am Tweed Regional Gallery & Margaret Olley Art Centre   

Exhibition: Three Echoes Western Desert Art  

Monet masterpiece Meules, milieu du jour [Haystacks, midday] 1890  

11.30 am – 12.30 pm 
Break and travel to Museum

12:30 – 1:30pm - Tweed Regional Museum   

Exhibitions: Game On and Supertonic exhibitions  

Time spent at each venue will be approximately one hour.
