Abbatoir

The abattoirs at Dagoretti are located at one of the headwaters of the Nairobi River below the Ngong Hills. There are about four abattoirs at this location and they supply most of the meat for Nairobi. This typically represents the magnitude of water quality issues in the Dagoretti catchment.
