Tweed Heads Croquet Club upgrade

Council is demolishing the existing Tweed Heads Croquet clubhouse and will construct a new facility designed to be both flood-resistant and inclusive. The new clubhouse will be built on a similar design footprint but will feature advanced flood-resistant materials and design elements to minimise the impact of future flood events, enhancing the building’s resilience and accessibility.

The new design will include ramps and accessible amenities to ensure the clubhouse is welcoming to all community members. Additionally, an accessible toilet will be added to meet essential needs for visitors and members.

Once completed, the revamped Tweed Heads Croquet clubhouse will provide a safe, inclusive, and vibrant environment for croquet matches, social gatherings, and member interactions, continuing the storied legacy of the club, which has been a cornerstone of the community for nearly a century.
