Queens Park public toilet demolition
The public toilet at Queens Park (located opposite Jim Devine Fields) in Murwillumbah has been closed for an extended period and is being demolished.
The public toilet has reached the end of its useful life and poses safety concerns, having been significantly affected by the floods in 2017 and 2022.
Toilets are available at Jim Devine Fields, and a new toilet will be installed for sports club users only as part of the refurbishment of the sports amenities building.

Why it's happening
The public toilet has reached the end of its useful life, and severe weather and flooding in 2017 and 2022 have caused additional damage to the building.
