We are enhancing the resilience of Col Wiley Park's facilities to withstand future floods. Situated along the Tweed River, the park is a favoured spot for picnicking, fishing, and relaxing.

What’s involved
- Demolish and replace the damaged shelter and picnic tables
Why it's happening
The shelter and park furniture suffered significant damage during the flood event in February 2022.
How it’s getting done
Budget: $216,744 (for 3 projects including Sutherland Point & Robert Dixon Parks, and Cudgen Foreshore Park).
Jointly funded by the Australian and NSW Governments.
