Black Rocks Border Crescent Park shade sail replacement
Council has replaced the shade sail that was damaged during a storm, using the existing poles in place. The new shade structure will enhance the playground's appeal and enjoyment throughout the year.

Shelters and park furniture were severely impacted by damage during the flood event in February 2022.
How it’s getting done
Budget: Budget: $54,429 (for 4 shade projects including Border Crescent & Sassafrass St (Pottsville), Medoc Place Park & Traminer Crt (Banora Point) and the replacement of play equipment Cudgera Creek Park (Hastings Point).
Jointly funded by the Australian and NSW Governments.
