Bilambil Sports Complex East car park upgrade

We are enhancing the car park at Bilambil Sports Complex East to boost its resilience against future floods and to provide better access for the Bilambil Jets RLFC, the Terranora Lakes Equestrian Club, the broader community, and visitors. The upgrades will include asphalting damaged sections of the internal access road, creating a new car park for the Equestrian Hub, and improving both accessibility and pedestrian access to the sports amenities.

What's involved

• New asphalt access road and car park at the Terranora Lakes Equestrian Club, featuring 15 spaces
• Improvement of the table drain along the access road
• Installation of concrete blocks to protect the table drain from vehicle damage
• Addition of two accessible parking bays
• New connecting pathway
• New section of asphalt on the access road in front of the sports club (dependent on available funding).
• Returfing of any damaged areas.

Why it’s happening

Severe weather and flooding in 2022 caused substantial damage to the internal access road and carpark, severely damaging the road surface.

Budget: $435,600

Jointly funded by the Australian and NSW Governments.
