Tweed Shire Council invites your organisation to participate in NSW Seniors Festival 2025 by holding a special event between Monday 3 March and Sunday 16 March. Event registrations close Friday 13 December 2024.

Event information

Your event should be open to all seniors, focus on, and celebrate the valuable contribution seniors have made, and continue to make, to the life of our community.

Some suggestions for Seniors Festival events are:

  • hosting a special morning or afternoon tea or lunch. 
  • giving discounts or special deals to seniors during this period.
  • holding concerts, social get-togethers or special film screenings, leisure, health activities and demonstrations or tours, displays and exhibitions.
  • offering your regular class or activity for free or a discount to encourage seniors to try. 

Your activity or event will be included for free in a Tweed Shire Seniors Festival program put together by Council’s Community Care Team and published in Council’s weekly newsletter, the Tweed Link.

If you would like to be part of Seniors Festival 2025 by organising an event, please complete the event nomination form below.
