Making a difference
Council staff have installed water treatment plants in Kenyan villages
Council’s Tweed Kenya Mentoring Program supports water and sanitation projects in small villages in Siaya, Kenya.
Council provides technical and financial support, and several staff have volunteered to travel to Kenya to help with the program.
The project has created unique bonds of friendship between the Tweed and Kenyan communities.
Staff donations to the program are matched by Council.
