Friends of Tweed River Regional Museum
The Friends of Tweed River Regional Museum is a volunteer not for profit organisation. Our aim is to promote the development of Tweed River Regional Museum, to foster public interest in the Museum and to organise events and raise funds for Tweed River regional Museum. We also support and encourage Membership of the Tweed River Regional Museum Foundation.
As a Friend you will be part of a small, but rapidly growing group of people dedicated to enhancing the cultural life of Tweed by promoting a lively Museum culture. Joining the Friends means you can be a part of a new, exciting time for our Shire, and part of a unique project.
Having begun in 2008, the Friends already has over 100 members from the local area and further afield. In the coming years we wish to build on our strengths, eventually working up to a regular round of events and fundraisers, and by negotiating a series of benefits and discounts for Friends at local businesses. Join us now and begin to receive our quarterly Newsletter and special invitations to Museum events.
