Warning Notice
Please be advised that on Thursday 10th May 2012 maintenance work will be undertaken on the Murwillumbah Airstrip. This work will be undertaken between 7am and 12am. Vehicles and maintenance staff will be located on the Airstrip during this time.
The Airfield will not be closed but all non emergency aircraft movements must be avoided. A nominated pilot (based at the airfield) will be monitoring all localised air traffic on frequency 126.7 and will respond to aircraft as required.

The airfield located at Murwillumbah is a grass strip of approximately 800 metres which can accommodate up to twin propeller aircraft. It operates in unrestricted airspace and is open to use by general aviation. Prior contact with the Airfield is advised to establish local conditions before landing.
